Water is drawn directly from a cold water supply and heated as it is used, so a stored hot water supply is not needed. Performance depends upon decent water pressure and the wattage of the unit: 7.5Kw, 8.5Kw, 9.5Kw and 10.5Kw are available. Because they are easy to install in main/en-suite bathrooms and dedicated shower rooms, electric showers are extremely versatile.
