We are pleased to see the launch of the new and improved LED under cabinet light, with 110 degree light spread to give soft diffused light and no visible diodes its the first of its kind. 3.5 watts may not sound like a lot of light but with ever improving LED technology and prismatic diffuser the PAD2 kicks out an amazing 301 lumens in warm white and 308 lumens in cool white. Giving a very efficient 88 lumens per watt so these lights will be extremely cheap to run.
Available in single additional units or in packs of 2 and 3 complete with driver, they are easy to wire. Each fitting comes with a 1.5m lead (2.5m extension available) which you take back to the junction box and plug in; this then plugs into the driver; connect the driver to the mains and your away. You can even purchase a dimmer/switch which simply plugs inline giving you full local control. Hold your hand over the dimmer and it dims the light up/down or on and off with a short wave of the hand.
The lights are most suited for mounting under kitchen cabinets and units but can also be used inside cupboards and wardrobes etc. Not the cheapest in the market place but if you're looking for quality look no further.
